Cooking School Return Policy

Greetings, culinary enthusiasts! At our Cooking School, we strive to provide a delightful and immersive experience for all our students. Just like tickets to a thrilling sporting event or a captivating theater performance, our cooking class tickets are considered final sales. However, we understand that life can throw unexpected ingredients into the mix. So, here's our policy for making the most of your ticket:

The "Pass the Apron" Option:

If you find yourself unable to attend a cooking class, you have the wonderful opportunity to share the culinary love. You can gift or sell your ticket to someone who can attend in your place. Whether it's a friend, a family member, or even a friendly neighbor with a passion for cooking, they'll be thrilled to step into your shoes and embark on a gastronomic adventure.

While our policy does not allow for direct returns or refunds, we encourage you to explore the possibilities of sharing the joy of cooking with others.  Just like a well-seasoned dish, a proper ticket transfer can add that extra flavor to someone else's cooking journey.

So, if you ever find yourself in a pickle and can't attend a class, remember that there's a world of aspiring chefs out there waiting to seize the opportunity. Spread the culinary love and let the flavors of your ticket continue to inspire and ignite passion in others.

Claims
All claims and shortages must be reported within 48 hours of received shipment. All packaging materials must be saved. Please email customerservice@cooksonmian.com to report your claim.

Online Return Procedure
Online purchases can be returned in-store or shipped back to Cooks on Main.
All returns shipped back to Cooks on Main
must have a return authorization number (ra#) and include a copy of your receipt or packing list.
To obtain a return authorization number, please contact our customer service department by e-mail: customerservice@cooksonmain.com

Without prior authorization, your return will not be accepted.

Cooks on Main wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. When your package is received, please examine and report any damage immediately. We strive not to ship defective merchandise, but in the event it happens, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your shipping and we will gladly send you a prepaid shipping label for a replacement at our cost.  If you are not completely satisfied, please return the item for an exchange or refund within 30 days of receipt with the proper paperwork included and filled out.

Items Not Returnable
All special-order merchandise are a final sale and are not returnable. Any used product is not returnable unless it is defective. Gift Cards and cooking classes are non-refundable and cannot be returned.

All food items are final sale.

Defective Policy
Cooks on Main stands behind its products and equipment. Should you receive defective merchandise, please contact the manufacturer to file a warranty claim. If you have further questions or need access to your original receipt, contact 701-572-2665.

 

Damaged Merchandise

If you receive damaged merchandise please keep all packing materials together and place the merchandise inside the original shipping box. If the merchandise was damaged in shipping, please contact our customer service department within 48 hours of receiving your order. customerservice@cooksonmain.com. We will gladly send you a prepaid shipping label at our expense to replace your damaged product.

If your product was damaged during the shipping, please save all the packaging material, original paperwork and place the item back inside the original ship box

For all other damages, please contact customer service to obtain a return authorization number.

Damaged Shipments

At Cooks on Main, we take great care in packaging and shipping our culinary treasures to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. However, we understand that occasionally mishaps occur during transit. If you receive a damaged item, we're here to make it right! Please follow the steps below to report a damaged shipment:

Notify us promptly:

Within 3 business days of delivery, please reach out to us via email at customerservice@cooksonmain.com. In your email, include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and attach a clear photo of the damaged item. This will help us assess the situation and provide you with the best possible assistance.

Replacing your damaged item:

If it is determined that your item is eligible for replacement, we will take immediate steps to send you a new one. We want to make sure you receive the culinary treasure you ordered in its pristine condition. Our team will guide you through the process and keep you informed every step of the way.

 We understand that receiving a damaged item can be disappointing, and we appreciate your cooperation in promptly reporting any issues. We strive to provide exceptional customer service and to ensure your complete satisfaction with our products.

 Eligibility for Returns:

We gladly accept returns for merchandise that is new and unused, accompanied by a receipt, within 30 days of purchase. We want you to have ample time to assess your purchase and decide if it's the perfect fit for your needs.

 Final Sale Items:

Certain items fall under our final sale policy, including seasonal merchandise, gift boxes, consumable products, and clearance sales. Please note that these items cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a defect or damage upon receipt.

 Gift Receipt Returns:

If you received an item as a gift and have a gift receipt, we're happy to offer an in-store credit for the value of the item. This allows you to explore our selection and find something that truly delights you.

 Original Purchaser Returns:

For items returned by the original purchaser with a receipt or proof of purchase, we offer a refund for the amount paid. We want to ensure that you receive the proper reimbursement if you find the need to return an item.

 Condition of Items:

To facilitate a smooth return or exchange process, please ensure that both the item and its packaging are in perfect condition and suitable for resale to another customer. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our products in their best possible state.

 Items that are not in new and unused condition or not in their original packaging will not be accepted for refund or exchange.

Note: Please allow 14 days, for processing of exchanges or returns.

Return Policy for Drop Shipped items.

We frequently incur additional costs from our suppliers if these items are returned to them, which we have to pass on to you. These costs can include packing & shipping costs plus restocking fees.

These charges will be deducted from the credit you receive for returns or refused deliveries of drop shipped items.

Cooksonmain.com will not pay for shipping charges on items returned to us as warranty claims from international destinations (including Canada).
