AVOCADO HUMMUS

A simple, healthy twist on traditional hummus. Dip with veggies or spread on toast to create a trendy gourmet “avocado toast” that will have you coming back for more.
Ingredients

1 (15 oz) can Chick Peas, rinsed and drained

3 Tbsp Sicilian Lemon Olive Oil

1 1/2 Tbsp Tahini

3 Tbsp fresh Lime Juice

1 clove Garlic, peeled

1/2 tsp Cumin Spice Sea Salt, plus more to taste

Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste

2 ripe Avocados, peeled and pitted
Directions
In a food processor, pulse chick peas, olive oil, tahini, lime juice and garlic until smooth, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add avocados and pulse mixture until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes longer.
Transfer to a serving dish, finish with a sprinkle of more sea salt, and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve with pita chips, veggies, or as a spread for tartine (which is a fancy French word for sliced bread).
