Ingredients
- 6 whole small, fresh jalapenos (or 3 large ones)
- 4 ounces chopped green chilies
- 12 ounces softened cream cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup (generous) fiesta cheese
- ½ cup real bacon crumbles
- ½ cup panko bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Tortilla chips, to serve
Instructions
- Carefully slice and seed the jalapenos, reserving some seeds ONLY if you like it spicy.
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine jalapenos, green chilies, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, chili powder, fiesta cheese, and bacon crumbles.
- Spread the mixture into a baking dish.
- Top evenly with panko bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Then broil for 2 minutes, watching carefully, until crumbs are just turning golden brown.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
