Jalapeno Popper Dip

A warm, creamy appetizer with just the right amount of kick! This Jalapeno Popper Dip blends spicy jalapenos, cheese, and bacon into a crave-worthy party favorite.

Ingredients

  • 6 whole small, fresh jalapenos (or 3 large ones)
  • 4 ounces chopped green chilies
  • 12 ounces softened cream cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup (generous) fiesta cheese
  • ½ cup real bacon crumbles
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Tortilla chips, to serve

Instructions

  1. Carefully slice and seed the jalapenos, reserving some seeds ONLY if you like it spicy.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine jalapenos, green chilies, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, chili powder, fiesta cheese, and bacon crumbles.
  4. Spread the mixture into a baking dish.
  5. Top evenly with panko bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Then broil for 2 minutes, watching carefully, until crumbs are just turning golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
