- 1 tsp Roasted Garlic Infused Sea Salt
- 2 Tbsp Caramelized Garlic Infused Olive Oil
- Green onions, for garnish
Balsamic Whiskey Cream Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Caramelized Garlic Infused Olive Oil
- ½ onion, sliced thin
- ½ tsp Roasted Garlic Infused Sea Salt
- ¼ cup whiskey
- 2 Tbsp Chocolate Espresso Barrel Aged Balsamic
- ¼ cup heavy cream
Directions
- In a Ziploc bag or bowl, combine steak with coffee rub and sea salt. Mix well and let sit at room temperature for 10–20 minutes while preparing the sauce.
- Heat 2 Tbsp olive oil in a large sauté pan. Add onions, season with salt, and cook until soft and caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the whiskey and balsamic vinegar, then add the heavy cream. Cook for another 1–2 minutes. Remove sauce from pan and keep warm.
- Add remaining 2 Tbsp olive oil to the pan. Once hot, sear the seasoned steak tips, turning to cook all sides, about 3–4 minutes total (3 minutes for medium-rare).
- Plate steak tips and top with the balsamic whiskey cream sauce. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
