CLASSIC CAPRESE SALAD

Caprese salad incorporates the colors of the Italian flag with red
tomatoes, white mozzarella, and green basil, making this dish a true
Italian classic!
This dish comes together in minutes and is a great
to bring to a potluck or pair with a crusty baguette and glass of wine
for a Friday night dinner. Finished with our Sweet Basil Balsamic
Vinegar, this recipe is sweet, tangy, herbaceous, and creamy!
Ingredients
- 12 oz Mozzarella
- 4 Tomatoes On The Vine
- 2 Tbsp Sweet Basil Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Black Pepper Olive Oil
- 10 Basil Leaves, chiffonade cut
- 2 tsp Peruvian Pink Sea Salt
Directions
Slice mozzarella and tomatoes into ¼” thick pieces. On a serving platter layer tomatoes and mozzarella by rotating between each one.
Drizzle mozzarella and tomatoes with vinegar and olive oil.
Top salad with basil and sea salt. Serve immediately
