
Freezer Bag Chicken Fajita
We know some days there are just not enough hours in a day! Quickly have dinner ready with this Freezer Bag Chicken Fajita meal! Make ahead, keep in the freezer, and fry it up when you're ready to eat!
- 1/4 cup Frantoia Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Cooks Fajita Seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1–1.5 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 12 small tortillas
- Guacamole, sour cream, salsa, or other toppings of choice
- Optional kitchen tool: bag holder for easy meal prep
Directions
- Add chopped vegetables and chicken to a freezer bag (a hands-free bag holder can help).
- Add olive oil, fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper to the bag.
- Squeeze out most of the air and seal the bag. Gently toss to coat all ingredients. Freeze until ready to use.
- When ready to cook, pour the contents into a skillet and cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until chicken is cooked through (about 12 minutes).
- Serve with tortillas and your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

TIP: Thaw meals in the refrigerator 24 hours before cooking for best results.
