
Not Your Traditional Pot Roast
This isn’t your grandma’s pot roast—it's better. Infused with the bold flavor of MeatMan’s Beef Marinade and a splash of Coke for unexpected depth, this tender chuck roast is slow simmered to perfection with hearty potatoes, carrots, and whole onions. Comfort food with a flavorful twist, it’s a one-pot meal that’s anything but ordinary.
Ingredients
- 1 boneless beef chuck, arm, shoulder or blade pot roast (4 lb)
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup MeatMan’s Beef Marinade
- ½ cup Coke
- 8 small potatoes, cut in half
- 8 medium carrots, peeled and cut into quarters
- 8 small whole onions, peeled
Directions
- In 4-quart Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat until brown on all sides; reduce heat to low.
- Sprinkle beef with pepper. Add Coke and MeatMan’s Marinade to Dutch Oven. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 2 hours 30 minutes OR roast in oven 300 degrees for 2 hours.
- Add potatoes, carrots, and onions. Cover and continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
